Catch-GTP Custom Lures was born from a lifelong obsession with predators, fishing, and figuring out what makes a fish strike.
We don't see a lure as a blank canvas simply waiting for someone to paint something beautiful on it.
We see it as a tool designed to catch a predator's attention.
Every Catch-GTP lure is hand-painted, but there is a reason behind the patterns we create. Colour, contrast, flash, silhouette, scale, visibility and pattern placement are considered with one goal in mind:
Make the predator notice. Make it look twice. Make it strike.
Our designs aren't created by simply letting the paint flow and hoping something interesting appears. We approach lure painting tactically — studying prey, predator behaviour and the visual triggers that can make a lure stand out in the water.
Sometimes that means subtle and natural.
Sometimes it means flash, contrast and aggression.
Sometimes the lure needs to disappear into the environment.
